Course Overview
Due to their power, design and material, there is significant risk when operating grinding or cutting wheels. Sufficient training has been a requirement since the introduction of the Abrasive Wheels Regulations 1970 and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.
Our EUSR approved Abrasive Wheels scheme teaches learners to be able to demonstrate knowledge and the safe use of the Abrasive Wheels and associated Petrol Driven Equipment in line with current legislation.
Prerequisites:
There are no formal prerequisites for this course. However, learners should be clean-shaven and have a valid face-fit certificate for the practical element of the course.
