Course Overview
The NRSWA Street Works Re-Assessment for Supervisors provides an efficient route for experienced cardholders to maintain their registered SWQR status. Street Works qualifications expire after five years; this intensive one-day programme enables supervisors to refresh their understanding of current industry standards before taking their re-assessment tests.
The day combines targeted classroom briefings with touch-screen or paper-based multiple-choice examinations covering key supervisory units (including S1–S5, S7, and LA).
Delegates review recent changes to statutory codes of practice, safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and highway reinstatement standards. This course ensures supervisors remain fully compliant, knowledgeable, and capable of overseeing safe, high-quality street works operations without needing to retake the full five-day course.
Prerequisites:
Candidates must hold a valid or recently expired SWQR supervisor card. Candidates must present their current card or SWQR registration number prior to the assessment day.
Who should attend:
This course is essential for existing street works supervisors, utility managers, and site engineers who need to renew their SWQR registration card before or shortly after its 5-year expiry date.
Assessment:
Multiple Choice Question Assessment
Certification:
Updated SWQR card issued by the Street Works Qualifications Register, extending their supervisor accreditation for a further 5 years.
