Course Aim: This Emergency First Aid at Work course gives delegates the skills and the confidence to respond to a range of accidents and first aid emergencies they could encounter in the workplace in line with the UK & European Resuscitation guidelines.
Course Content: Role of a First Aider | Importance of preventing cross infection | Assessing the situation in order to act safely in an emergency | Accident recording and reporting | First Aid equipment | Unconscious casualty (including seizures) | Recovery position | CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) | AED (Automated External Defibrillator) | Choking | Bleeding | Shock | Minor injuries (small cuts, grazes, bruises, minor burns and scalds, small splinters)
