Street Works Qualifications Register (SWQR) cards expire every 5 years. If your card expired within the permitted grace period, you can still sit the 1-day Re-Assessment course to renew it. If significant time has passed outside the grace period, you may need to retake the full 5-day qualification.

For practical yard exercises, delegates must bring safety footwear (toe-cap boots), high-visibility clothing (jacket/vest and trousers for highways), safety helmet (hard hat), and suitable work gloves.
