Course Overview
The NRSWA Street Works Re-Assessment for Operatives is tailored for experienced groundworkers and utility operatives who need to renew their five-year SWQR card.
This one-day course delivers focused refresher instruction on core operational units (such as O1–O6, O8, and LA) to ensure delegates are completely up to date with modern safety guidelines and regulatory standards. Topics reviewed include underground cable avoidance, safe excavation methods, compaction specifications, cold-lay reinstatement, and traffic management rules.
Following the review sessions, delegates undertake multiple-choice re-assessment papers corresponding to the units recorded on their current card. This process validates ongoing competence efficiently, keeping teams compliant and fully qualified to work on UK roads.
