EUSR Category 1 Locate Utility Services (HSG 47):
Our EUSR approved Locate Utility Services scheme is designed for operatives engaged in utility operations and excavation activities. Delegates will gain the skills and knowledge required to accurately identify, detect and mark utility services prior to commencing any excavation work.
The Category 1 Locate Utility Services (HSG 47) standard addresses the training and assessment necessary for individuals responsible for safely locating utility services using approved detection techniques.
EUSR Category 2 Implement Safe (Digging) Excavating Practices:
Our EUSR approved Safe Digging Practices scheme enables delegates to develop a thorough understanding of both general and specific legislation, as well as the guidelines governing safe excavation practices.
They will learn to identify good and poor working practices and gain the skills necessary to carry out or interpret risk assessments and permits to work, enabling them to implement safe digging practices through hand digging techniques.
