Course Overview
Due to their power, design, and material, there is significant risk when operating grinding or cutting wheels. Sufficient training has been a requirement since the introduction of the Abrasive Wheels Regulations 1970 and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.
Our EUSR Approved Abrasive Wheels - Theory Only scheme requires provides learners with the essential knowledge and understanding of the safe use of Abrasive Wheels in line with current legislation.

Who should attend:
This qualification is essential for anyone within an organisation that requires awareness in the use of Abrasive Wheels. This qualification is intended for awareness purposes only and is not suitable for individuals performing Abrasive Wheels operations. Those individuals should attend the appropriate practical Abrasive Wheels course.
